Maxhub Unified Communication (UC) S10 Quick Guide

1. UC S10 as external microphone, camera, and speaker to Windows PC or MAC computer

  1. Power on UC S10 and computer
  2. Connect Type C cable to USB Cable to UC S10 and computer 
  3. Connect HDMI cable to UC S10 and  TV / Projector / Monitor
  4. At the computer, Select sound back as the default audio output device
  5. In the video conference software, select UCS10 microphone, speaker, and camera as default devices to use in the system.
  6. Select the video input source in the TV / Projector / Monitor (normally is auto-detect.)

2. UC S10 as video conference system to TV / Projector / Monitor

  1. Power on UC S10 and TV / Projector / Monitor
  2. Check the HDMI cable is connected properly in the UC S10 and the TV / Projector / Monitor.
  3. Make sure the UCS10 is connected to the Intenet via WIFI or LAN cable.
  4. Download and install video conference software tool (In the browser, search for ZOOM APK, Microsoft TEAM APK to download and install) (Google Meet is not supported)
  5. Host the web meeting on a computer or mobile phone, then join from the UC S10 VC system.

3a. UC S10 as external microphone, camera, and speaker on computer and share screen to TV

  1. Power on UC S10 and computer
  2. Connect Type C cable to USB Cable to UC S10 and computer 
  3. Connect HDMI cable to UC S10 and  TV / Projector / Monitor

3b. Wireless screen sharing from US S10 to TV / Projector / Monitor

  1. Install MAXHUB Share software into Computer / Phone / Tablet / Mac, or plug in the paired Screen Sharing Dongle into the computer / Macbook and activate a small program inside the dongle.
  2. Join into UC S10 hotspot wireless network or connect to LAN or WIFI network same with UC S10
  3. Open the Maxhub share, enter the 6 alphanumeric code display on the screen
  4. Click start SHARE button to share the computer screen.
  5. Note for PC: Check the audio destination on the MAXHUB Share program, Turn on the PC Speaker to play the audio on UCS10, Turn off to play the audio on TV

4. Mirror screen from PC, Phone, Table, Macbook to TV, Projector, Display Panel

  1. Install MAXHUB Share software into Computer / Phone / Tablet / Mac or Install the mobile app Maxhub share in Google Play / Apple App Store. Or plug in the paired Screen Sharing Dongle into the computer and activate a small program inside the dongle.
  2. Power on UC S10
  3. Join into UC S10 hotspot wireless network (from wireless, look for SSID with MAXHUB-xxx, default password is 12345678 / Connect computer into same network with UC S10
  4. In the MAXHUB Share, enter the 6 alphanumeric code display on the screen
  5. Click start SHARE button to share the computer screen.
  6. Note for PC: Check the audio destination on the MAXHUB Share program, Turn on the PC Speaker to play the audio on UCS10, Turn off to play the audio on TV

5. As Wireless hotspot in the meeting room

  1. Connect RJ45 network cable to UC S10 Conference Bar. 
  2. Power on UC S10
  3. Go to setting on the screen, double confirm if the UC S10 connected with Internet.
  4. Join into UC S10 hotspot wireless network (from wireless, look for SSID with MAXHUB-xxx, default password is 12345678 / Connect computer into same network with UC S10
  5. Enjoy the internet access.

6. FAQ

No,  The device components (Camera, Microphone, and Speaker) will be used by the application in USC10, the UCS10 connected to PC may not able to use the device components anymore.

  1. Things to check
    1. Do you have the permission to use the external devices?
    2. Is the UCS10 application is running and the devices is used?
    3. Is the USC10 is power on?
  2. If everything were checked, please restart the USC10, and your computer and check the connection was connected properly. You the software to test the microphone, speaker, and camera functionality. For example: Zoom, Meets, Team, Skype…

Tested working on Windows 10 environment.

UC S10 Conference Bar Ports and Systems

  1. HDMI Output  – Connect to TV / Projector / Display Panel
  2. AUX IN/OUT – 3.5mm audio jack, connect to external speaker / PA System / Mixer.
  3. USB 3.0 – Ports for Maxhub Wireless Screen Sharing Dongle, USB drive, Wireless Keyboard & Mouse, any supported USB devices.
  4. LAN – Port for connection to network for internet access / Screen sharing within same network.
  5. Type C – Connect to Computer to use UC S10 as external microphone, camera, and speaker
  6. Wireless LAN – Connect to wireless network.
  7. Wireless Hotspot – Self contain wireless hotspot for simple screen sharing, and use UC S10 as wireless hotspot if LAN cable with internet connected
  8. Operating system – Android system 8.0 (GMS – Google Management system is not supported and with limited Android app support, for more software support, please use as device mode in computer)
  9. Remote Control – Control the unit audio volume, on screen keyboard and pointer for system setup and operation.
